Entering the mainstream

The popularity and widespread adoption of Botox is evident not only throughout Hollywood as it is becoming increasingly more popular in everyday life also.  With considerable improvements in the quality of treatment provided, which is exemplified in particular by the specialists of Botox Westchester.

Annabel Karmel, a leading author on baby food and nutrition, recognises that life is not only about eating healthy food as she believes a balance is required.  She admits to regularly eating chocolate, ice-cream and bread, while the nutritionist also admits to something else in the interview.

Karmel states that she has two Botox procedures performed annually to “hold back” wrinkles, although initially she was uncertain whether to proceed, as she states “I wasn’t going to have Botox, then all of my friends had it and I felt the odd one out”.  The changing attitude towards cosmetic surgery is in part due its increased availability – greater supply of services provided has had a positive effect on the price.  It is also interesting to hear a well-known nutritionist comment on her adoption of Botox, her openness and honesty around what was once considered a taboo proves the popularity and importance of the procedure.

The greater affordability in Botox treatments over the past ten years has been as a result of the increased demand and supply; in 2000 the procedure was considered rare, while any stigma attached to it has been removed considering it is now commonplace.  The quality of procedures has improved also with specialists at dermatologist Greenwich CT providing some of the most effective treatments.

With Botox proving the most common non-surgical procedure performed on women in the United States in 2011.  Its popularity is due to its non-invasiveness combined with its effectiveness and affordability – the three factors reaffirm why 65% of non-surgical procedures for women under 35 were Botox injections.

Botox and injectable fillers come with a lot fewer risks than plastic surgery. They’re also fairly safe, assuming you get your treatments from a licensed cosmetic dermatologist.
